By creating an account and paying for membership on Urban Halo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
Urban Halo is an exclusive community for Black women and women of color. Membership is granted at the sole discretion of Urban Halo. We reserve the right to decline or revoke membership to anyone who misrepresents their identity or violates our community values.
Access to Urban Halo requires a paid membership. Fees are charged at the rate selected during signup — monthly, annual, or lifetime. All fees are in USD. Membership fees cover platform access only. No goods or services from other members are included in the membership fee.
All exchanges between members must be barter-based. No money, gifts, or compensation of any kind may be exchanged between members in connection with a trade. Urban Halo is not responsible for the quality, completion, or outcome of any barter agreement between members.
Urban Halo provides the platform and tools to facilitate barter connections. We do not guarantee that any member will find a match, complete a trade, or receive satisfactory services from another member.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate membership suspension or permanent removal without refund.
All work created and exchanged through Urban Halo trades remains the intellectual property of the creator unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing between the two members. Urban Halo claims no ownership over member-created work.
Urban Halo provides a flagging and mediation system for trade disputes. We will make reasonable efforts to mediate but are not legally responsible for the outcome of any trade. Members agree to attempt resolution through our platform process before pursuing any external legal action.
Urban Halo is not liable for any loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from barter exchanges between members. Our total liability to any member shall not exceed the amount paid for their membership in the most recent billing period.
Urban Halo reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any member at any time for violation of these terms. Monthly and annual members removed for violations are not entitled to refunds. Lifetime members removed for violations forfeit their membership without compensation.
We may update these terms at any time. Members will be notified by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Mississippi, without regard to conflict of law principles.
